Siding Installer Carpenter - Contract Position

Tacheny Exteriors is a fourth-generation, family-owned home remodeling company specializing in roofing, siding, gutters, windows & doors, soffit & fascia, and decks. We are looking for 1099 subcontractor crew members who are motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals who want to grow with a company that values quality, teamwork, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute high-quality exterior remodeling projects, including installations and repairs of siding.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a siding installer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of siding materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 3+ year of experience in construction or exterior remodeling is required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
