Catholic Musician Schedule: Every Sunday at 12:15 pm. Place of Performance: Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Chapel, Virginia Beach, VA 23459. Job Summary Ladgov Corporation is hiring a Catholic musician to support services for religious programs at the Joint Base Little Creek Chapel. Responsibilities Provide music to support the missions and responsibilities of the Command Religious Program for the Joint Base Little Creek Chapel on an annual basis. Perform one Roman Catholic Mass service per week for a total of 52 services. The Mass begins at 12:15 pm on Sundays and lasts approximately one hour. Perform eight special event services (e.g., Ash Wednesday, Christmas Eve mass, Holy Week Services, etc.). Schedule to be determined. Monthly choir rehearsals for the Catholic Mass (12 regular rehearsals). The rehearsal includes rehearsal time for special musical selections and lasts approximately one hour. Days and times to be determined. Plan and provide music for up to a maximum of two services for funerals, memorial services, and special events in coordination with the Installation Chaplain (not to exceed 2 services). Requirements Clear understanding of the Navy organization and the pluralistic ministry requirements that affect the use of chapel facilities and staff. At least one year of experience with Roman Catholic ministries conducted in a military setting and demonstrated skills in various sacred musical genres appropriate per faith tradition. #J-18808-Ljbffr
