Crematory Operator

Seeking a competent, reliable and energetic individual who is interested in working in the funeral services industry. This position provides the opportunity to begin a new career in a productive and rewarding industry. It offers our employees the sacred duty to honor the dignity of the deceased, upholding the highest standards of care and respect for the deceased and their families. No experience required.

Tasks:

• Receive and verify decedents ensuring proper paperwork, logs and protocols are followed, including, but not limited to safety equipment; Operate cremation equipment and ensure cremation procedures are followed;
• Provides cremated remains to funeral directors, families or other funeral homes;
• Performs general maintenance and care of crematory equipment;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills;
• Ability to maintain effective relationships with our affiliates and/or third parties;
• Good communication skills;
• High level of compassion and integrity;
• Problem solver with the ability to multi-task and is detail oriented;
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record;
• Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently.
