Experienced Dental Assistant (Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $16-$18/hour (DOE)
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dental Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established practice. This role requires a strong background in chairside assisting and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental X-rays (as permitted by certification)
• Assist with patient intake, charting, and documentation
• Ensure patient comfort and maintain a professional, welcoming environment
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
• Support front office tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum 3.5 years of recent chairside dental assisting experience
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
• Certification required (CDA or equivalent preferred)
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization standards
• Proven track record of reliability and dependability
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
