District Manager
Location: Clifton, NJ
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Manager to oversee the performance and operations of multiple restaurant locations throughout Northern New Jersey. This leadership role is responsible for driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, and team development while ensuring every location delivers an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong multi-unit restaurant management experience. Pizza industry experience is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support multiple restaurant locations to achieve sales, profitability, labor, food cost, and operational goals.
Recruit, coach, develop, and mentor General Managers and management teams to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Ensure consistent execution of company standards, food quality, cleanliness, guest service, and brand expectations.
Analyze financial reports, P&L statements, labor metrics, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for growth and improved profitability.
Conduct regular restaurant visits, operational audits, and performance reviews while implementing action plans for continuous improvement.
Monitor inventory, purchasing, food cost controls, and waste reduction initiatives across all locations.
Partner with restaurant leadership to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall team performance.
Ensure compliance with all health department regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
Support new restaurant openings, remodels, and operational initiatives as needed.
Build a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, operational excellence, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
3+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience as a District Manager, Area Manager, or similar leadership role.
Pizza restaurant experience is highly preferred.
Proven success leading high-volume restaurant operations and developing management teams.
Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management, labor scheduling, food cost, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while managing multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations.
