Leading the execution of high-impact events, the full-time Manager, Events & Marketing will oversee 15-25 Amex Ventures-owned events annually, focusing on enhancing the organization's presence in the startup and venture capital ecosystem while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities Manage end-to-end execution of various events, including thematic dinners and demo days, ensuring high-quality delivery and attendee experience Strengthen relationships with venture capital firms and founders while supporting external engagement efforts to connect startups with American Express business units Collaborate with internal communications and branding partners to create event-related marketing content and maintain brand consistency Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, or related fields Proven track record of planning and executing high-quality events for external stakeholders Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for creating executive-ready materials and reports Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external partners
