Financial Analyst

Are you an experienced Financial Analyst? Are you looking for a temporary position that can get you a "foot in the door" with one of the country's largest financial services company? If so, please keep reading! We are seeking Financial Analyst candidates for a temporary (February - April 2022) position for our client. This position will be a 100% remote position. Our client will provide the equipment needed to work from home, you would just need to have reliable, efficient home internet and a private home office space for working.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Separate Accounts reporting process, establish a calendar, coordinate with staff, functional areas, and auditors
• Responsible for coordinating and/or compilation of documents for part of the financial close processes, analysis, ad-hoc requests, research, and special project
• Prepares, documents for financial close processes, analysis, Statutory reporting requirements, ad hoc requests, research, and special project
• Prepare analytical reports and utilize various analytical skills and procedures to assist with the understanding and validation of financial statements and disclosures
• Prepare and compile disclosures included in Statutory filings and other regulatory filings for Voya's Insurance companies
• Able to manage multiple, often competing priorities
• Interact, communicate and maintain liaison with other functional departments
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3 plus years or more of experience, including public accounting; insurance accounting (Statutory reporting a plus)
• Sound analytical skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel required; Oracle, Smartview, Workiva, and Wings experience preferred
