Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support students across multiple grade levels in a dynamic educational environment within the Kansas City, KS area. This contract position offers opportunities to work with diverse classroom and caseload types, including Life Skills, Autism, and Behavior support for K-12 students. Candidates without formal paraprofessional certification are welcome to apply, though preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering instructional support to students with varying needs.
• Provide targeted assistance to students on the autism spectrum and those requiring behavioral interventions.
• Support Life Skills programs by facilitating daily activities and learning objectives.
• Collaborate with educators to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teaching team.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting students in a classroom or specialized setting, particularly in Life Skills, Autism, or Behavior areas.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the guidance of certified educators.
• Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
• Paraprofessional certification is a plus but not required.
