Landscape Designer


A client of ours who is a multi-disciplinary firm with a strong commitment to collaborative design solutions is currently seeking an experienced landscape designer with a strong focus on quality design who will develop relevant, sustainable, and inspirational environments tailored to the unique opportunity requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provides the Landscape Architecture Department with design, graphic and production support.
• Works within a project team to execute a designated phase of a selected project in a manner that is responsive to the client's needs
• Compiles and analyzes data on site conditions such as geographic location, soil, vegetation, and natural features; drainage and location of structures.
• Develops design concepts according to parameters defined by the project team.
• Prepares site plans, construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates for land development, showing grading contours, vegetation and location of structures and facilities.
• Maintains ongoing communication to understand any project changes, design issues or time/budget constraints that may impact the initial assignment.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture
• 5+ years of landscape architecture/design-related experience preferred
• Proficiency in InDesign, AutoCAD, InDesign, Sketch-up, Microsoft Office Suite, and Photoshop and at least one high-end rendering software
• The ability to learn quickly, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic
• A passion for design and a creative knack for problem-solving
• Experience developing graphic exhibits and construction documents of landscape plans

Locations: Massachusetts, Texas, New York, Minnesota and Wisconsin
