Manufacturing Material Handler - LeadMANUFACTURING MATERIAL HANDLER - LEAD, HIRING IMMEDIATELY, Bridgeview ILMinimum 2-3 yrs prior forklift experienceLogistics Warehouse leadership experienceCompensation: Pay Range $26.71- $28.59 per hour - paid weeklyMaterial Handler Lead - Multiple ShiftsThis position will be cross functional to the Bridgeview location as the business need dictates.Shift: Days 7AM - 7PM On a 2-2-3 scheduleMaterial Handler Lead ISummary: Safely and effectively lead shift materials team to ensure product flow is effectively distributed throughout the plant and local Distribution Centers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for directing the work assignments of a team of lift truck operators and carrier driversDrives a culture of safe work practicesDrive team oriented environmentExecute standard work to ensure production materials are replenished to ensure continuous operationsEffectively communicate daily priorities (daily meetings, one on one engagements, Tier Meetings, etc.)Coordinate/collaborate warehouse operations with all departments.Perform daily audits (Safety, warehouse, forklifts, line inventories, etc.)Provide supervisory support, as neededProvide forklift training for new hires and re-certifications as needed.Support the Inventory Team as needed.Supports the receipt of railcar/bulk truck material.Performs other tasks as directed.Requirements:Previous logistics warehouse leadership experience requiredWMS software experience requiredStrong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skillsMust be detail oriented, strong organizational, math and problem solving skillsMust be able pass the LTO training and testingMust have experience with Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.)Bilingual communication skills preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredCompany BenefitsWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
