What You Will Do :
- Experience with Linux architecture, deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Integrated AD authentication (Kerberos, LDAP and/or Centrify)
- Experience with SMTP, DHCP, DNS, NIS, LDAP, CIFS, NFS, Samba and *NIX system security.
- Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products like Symantec NetBackup.
- Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities (e.g. Antivirus).
- Experience gathering requirements, designing, and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment Experience with an IT incident/service request system.
- Experience with HP server hardware support and diagnosis.
Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience supporting Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, VMware, Administration, backup and recovery.
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
Qualifications We Prefer: - Experience with VMware VSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc).
- Experience with Storage - HP MSA, RAID configuration.
- Experience with Window Servers, Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience with Network and infrastructure services such as domain controllers, global catalogs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
- Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
- Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange
- Scripting Experience.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
