HireLevel is hiring for a Payroll Specialist to add to our Human Capital Management team in Raleigh, NC. We process a high volume of payroll weekly for our clients while also offering a software that assists in human resource solutions for small and mid-sized companies. No previous experience processing payroll? Don't worry, we offer extensive, hands‑on training. A day in the life as a Payroll Specialist: Your first six weeks are dedicated to training! That's right, you will be jumping into our system and learning the ins and outs so that you're comfortable in our processes before we turn you loose. Our training is a mixture of hands‑on one‑on‑one learning with other payroll relationship managers as well as videos and courses within our learning management system used to gauge your knowledge. As your knowledge grows, so will your responsibilities. Within a few weeks you will have clients of your own to process payroll for. That means handling everything from data entry and garnishment collections to assisting with preparing and running reports within the system for our clients. Before long you'll be a pro and be able to help onboard and implement new clients. With a solid understanding of the system and your client's business you will be able to identify needs within their business and be able to upsell our products and services. What you need to be qualified for this job To be qualified, you must consider yourself a "techy-person" with an eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized and on task. You'll be engaging with our clients daily, so it is vital that you are able to understand the platform we provide them and speak to its capabilities with a customer service mindset. Many clients see our payroll relationship managers as an extension of their HR department so the ability to build a working relationship via email, phone calls and visits is key. Our environment is very fast‑paced, and deadline driven, so you must be able to work under pressure. Late paychecks don't fly around here! This is an on‑site position. Are you ready to join the team?
