About the Position

Enterprise Medical is seeking an Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine physician to join an established practice in Urbana, home to the University of Illinois . Prominent healthcare system with nearly 16,600 team members in its eight hospitals, physician groups, and a variety of healthcare businesses.

Practice Details

• Join four Geriatricians who support nursing home rounds, along with 7 APPs, and three full-time nursing staff, with an option to teach internal medicine residents
• Primary responsibilities include overseeing patient care at area nursing homes in post-acute care, long-term care, and assisted living/memory care
• Planned schedule is Monday-Friday with an option for part-time
• Work in close collaboration with the APP team to manage patients' needs (APPs take first call)
• Compensation ranges from $310,000 - $315,000, depending on experience, and generous benefits
• Opportunity for academics and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused on the intersection of healthcare and engineering
• Optional moonlighting available with urgent care for extra income
