Pain Management Physician Responsibilities Provide therapies and treatment for a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions Visit outpatients patients in a variety of settings Communicate and consult with other physicians regarding patient needs Discuss actions with patients that will help improve their lives Precisely follow HIPAA guidelines Keep precise medical records for each patient Prescribe necessary medications or therapy Explain all medical procedures and test results thoroughly Provide patients with plan of care details Pain Management Physician Qualifications Board certified or board-eligible physician in pain management Current and valid state medical license No board sanctions or actions in prior 10 years At least three years of experience as practicing internist or primary care physician Compassionate, patient and organized Experience in treating various lifestyle-related disorders
