The successful candidate will use various tools and/or machines to weld or fit Pipe. Will assist in all areas of the Pipe & Metal hose shop including machine shop, fitting, Hydro test, inspection and related product. May perform quality control duties. Duties and Responsibilities Reads and interprets blueprints and work orders. Verifies orders for correct quantity, materials and dimensions. Independently use and operate all required machines and or tools. Have knowledge of ISO and ASME requirements. Able to make decisions in absence of supervisor. Participate in lean activity and safety regulations. Other duties as assigned Education and Experience High school or equivalent (GED) required. Industrial TIG Pipe welding experience required. Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide). Must be able to perform & pass: 6G test Rollout Pipe Weld test Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Sit or stand for an extended period.
