Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safe working culture and work with safety and field personnel to minimize risks.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring safe production, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive operational performance and improvements to meet or exceed company goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Build effective teams and develop direct reports for future opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws concerning safety and the environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the construction field (desired).
  • Minimum of 3 years of plant management or related experience (highly desired).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office and the ability to rapidly learn different software applications.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledgeable about materials and equipment needed to perform tasks.
  • Ability to make cost-effective decisions on projects.

Work Requirements:

  • Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements in designated areas.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
  • Ability to wear a respirator in workplace conditions containing fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk or stand for more than one-third of the time, or sit for no more than one-third of the time.
  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders to examine equipment at heights.
  • Ability to move/carry objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
