Job Title: Printing Press Operator Job Description
The Print Press & Bindery Operator is responsible for operating printing and finishing equipment to produce high-quality print and digital products. This role ensures each job is completed on time, within specifications, and meets company quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Operate print and finishing equipment in accordance with established production standards and job specifications.
Monitor quality, speed, and material usage to minimize waste and ensure output meets expectations.
Review and interpret job tickets, following all instructions for layout, paper type, binding, and finishing requirements.
Conduct in-process and final quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Communicate project status, delays, or concerns with the production team to maintain workflow efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery in accordance with company maintenance schedules.
Adhere to safety procedures including forklift operation, lockout/tagout protocols, and hazardous communication standards.
Participate in required training programs and contribute to a safe, organized work environment.
Proactively identify and report equipment issues or production inefficiencies to team leaders.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
