General Function - The operation of a flexographic printing press. The operator will possess a combination of knowledge, skill, and abilities to carry out work activities related to the operation of the flexographic printing press. Specific Essential Responsibilities & Tasks - List major activities performed.
Position Requirements Minimum - High School Diploma or GED & basic computer skills. Best candidates would have at least 1-3 years flexo printing related experience with ability to write and read simple instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions & procedure manuals. Must be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must be able to maintain good attendance and flexible and willing to work overtime, as needed. Must be flexible in working any shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. During the shift press operators will be bending and twisting while moving product from workstation to pallet. Press operators may need to use manual or electric pallets jacks to move skids of products. This will require pushing and pulling.
