Overview Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to obtain pre-certifications and authorizations for hospital and clinical services, acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and insurance providers. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and proficient computer and phone skills. Responsibilities Secure prior authorizations from insurance companies for all hospital and clinical scheduled procedures, coordinating between patients, physicians, and insurance providers. Navigate complex insurance regulations and advocate for patients’ needs. Process paperwork efficiently to ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
