Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team in Napa, CA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative dental environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care while supporting efficient clinical operations.

You will play an essential role in ensuring patients have a positive experience while assisting the dental team with high-quality clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
• Take and process dental radiographs as permitted by licensure
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
• Assist with inventory management and maintaining organized clinical areas
• Support smooth day-to-day office and patient flow operations

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and chairside assisting
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
