Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to students, tailored to their unique emotional and behavioral needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through interviews and case history analysis to identify underlying issues and recommend appropriate intervention strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.
\n
• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and adapting approaches as necessary to meet student needs.

• Review and audit client case files for compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all relevant documentation—including assessments, care plans, and progress notes—are timely and accurately completed.

• Provide training and support to educational staff on mental health matters, equipping them with the knowledge to recognize and assist students in crisis.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is primarily focused on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other mental health professionals tailored to the specific needs of each student, ensuring they receive comprehensive support within their educational environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
\n
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of 1 year in a mental health-focused environment.

• Proven experience in managing conflict effectively and providing case management or similar services within social work.
