Work Environment\n

This position offers the unique flexibility of a remote work setting in Houston, Texas. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing mental health services in a school context, with your primary responsibilities focused on virtual engagement with students, parents, and school staff. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend engagements as necessary to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as a primary clinician, offering assessments and therapeutic interventions for students exhibiting symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.

• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and school administrators to create a supportive environment for students needing mental health services.

• Implement evidence-based practices to enhance the mental well-being of clients, focusing on empowerment and choice in treatment approaches.

• Participate actively in team meetings and communication channels to maintain alignment with overarching team goals and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of school-aged children facing diverse mental health challenges, which can range from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid LCSW license is required.
