Job Description

Salesforce Administrator

Are you interested in harnessing technology and AI to transform healthcare?

At XiFin, we believe a healthier, more efficient healthcare system starts with strong financial and operational foundations. Our innovative technologies help diagnostic providers, laboratories, and healthcare systems manage complexity, drive better outcomes, and stay focused on what matters most: patient care.

We're on a mission to simplify the business side of healthcare—and we know that mission takes people from all backgrounds and experiences. Whether you're early in your career or bringing years of expertise, we welcome your perspective, your curiosity, and your passion. We value individuals who ask questions, challenge the status quo, and want to grow while making a real difference.

About the Role

XiFin is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to serve as a key owner of our Salesforce platform, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders through system optimization, configuration, and continuous enhancement. This role is critical in ensuring Salesforce is effectively aligned to business needs across sales, marketing, customer operations, and service delivery functions.

In addition to core administration responsibilities, this role will contribute to hands-on development and customization efforts, including building automation, workflows, and lightweight custom solutions using Salesforce development tools. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce administration expertise with the ability to extend platform capabilities through configuration and light development.

This role requires close cross-functional partnership to gather requirements, translate business needs into system solutions, and ensure Salesforce is scalable, reliable, and optimized for adoption and performance.

Depending on depth of experience, you may be hired as a Salesforce Administrator or Senior Salesforce Administrator.

How You Will Make an Impact

In this role, you'll:

  • Own day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user management, configuration, and system maintenance
  • Configure and optimize Salesforce architecture including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and permission structures
  • Build and maintain automation using Salesforce Flow and related tools to improve business efficiency
  • Develop custom solutions and enhancements using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce (as needed), and declarative tools
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support operational and executive decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer operations, and IT) to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Support end-to-end testing efforts including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for new features and releases
  • Manage deployment activities using Salesforce release tools and DevOps processes
  • Maintain system integrity through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Support training, documentation, and onboarding to drive Salesforce adoption across the organization
  • Evaluate and implement Salesforce releases and new features to enhance platform capabilities
What You Will Bring to the Role

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys solving complex system challenges. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Take ownership of system outcomes and follow through from configuration to adoption
  • Navigate competing priorities and translate ambiguity into structured Salesforce solutions
  • Operate effectively across technical and business stakeholder groups to drive alignment
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve system usability, scalability, and efficiency
Skills and Experience You Have

You don't need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a production environment
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration including user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security model
  • Experience building Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data models
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow and automation tools
  • Exposure to Salesforce development concepts including Apex, Lightning Web Components, or Visualforce (preferred but not required)
  • Experience supporting Salesforce releases, deployments, and change management processes
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts
  • Experience working with cloud-based SaaS platforms and CRM ecosystems
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into system configurations and enhancements
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments

We're more than just a healthcare technology company—we're a team that cares about people.

Here's a glimpse at what we offer:

  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and telehealth
  • 401(k) with company match and personalized financial coaching
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions
  • Wellness incentives that reward preventative healthcare activities
  • Tuition assistance to support your education and growth
  • Flexible time off and company-paid holidays
  • Social and community-building events across our locations

Location: This is an onsite position at our office in San Diego.

Pay Transparency

At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is:

$95,000 – $125,500

Depending on your qualifications, you may be considered for a Salesforce Administrator or Senior Salesforce Administrator title. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
