Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS)
Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products. Apply patches to databases used for SAP applications.
Strong knowledge of HANA database
Strong knowledge of environment either consist of - Linux, Unix, Wintel servers with databases Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, Sybase, SQL Server etc
Work collaboratively with the SAP Functional teams from the business and regional support hubs (local IT team) and management team on projects, issues and enhancements
Performance/resource management to include SAP monitoring, availability configuration, application tuning, prevention and application optimization activities
Provide technical guidance for large-scale domestic and international projects including application installation and tuning, planning and installing patches in test and production environments
Provide problem resolutions and be part of a 24x7 on-call SAP support team. (L2/L3 support)
Strong experience in managing deliverables of vendors and strategic outsourcing partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Should have good people management skills.
Strong knowledge of Solution Manager Configuration (Manage System Config, CHARM, CTS+ etc)
Good experience with Sizing using tools like QuickSizer, Capacity planning.
Good experience working on Virtualize environment.
Knowledge of SAP cloud environment (AWS, MS Azure etc) along with certification will be added advantage. ”
