School Counselor | Lansing, KS | 2026-2027 School Year

ProCare Therapy is partnering with Lansing USD 469 to hire a dedicated School Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year . We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative professional who is passionate about supporting the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of elementary-aged students.

Position Details

• Location: Lansing, KS, 66043
• School District: Lansing USD 469
• School Year: August 12, 2026 – May 20, 2027
• Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
• Grade Levels: Kindergarten – 5th Grade
• Assignment: Split between the district's Elementary and Intermediate buildings
• Setting: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group counseling services to students.
• Deliver classroom guidance lessons that promote academic, social-emotional, and career readiness skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
• Participate in crisis response efforts and assist with student support planning.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold district, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess:

• Active Kansas School Counselor license/certification or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start date.
• Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field from an accredited program.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Previous school-based counseling experience is preferred but not required.

Travel Opportunities Available
