The role will support teams working across complex middle and back office functions, helping improve Agile maturity while enabling smoother delivery across business and technology groups.

Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, supporting a long-term engagement with exposure to Agile transformation, project delivery, and financial services technology operations. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams while expanding beyond traditional Scrum Master responsibilities into project management-oriented delivery support.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure Agile practices are consistently followed across delivery teams.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, helping increase maturity, accountability, and delivery predictability.
• Identify and remove blockers that may slow sprint execution, release planning, or stakeholder alignment.
• Support Agile transformation efforts by helping teams adopt stronger ways of working, communication practices, and delivery discipline.
• Partner with business, technology, and governance stakeholders to support project execution and transparency.
• Take on project management-related responsibilities as needed, including tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and follow-ups.
• Help bridge communication between delivery teams and middle/back office business stakeholders.

Do you bring proven success in Agile transformation and project delivery?

• 10+ years of professional experience, with strong experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise technology environments.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required or strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading Agile ceremonies, coaching teams, removing blockers, and improving Agile execution.
• Prior Agile transformation experience, including helping teams or organizations mature their Agile practices.
• Project management experience, with the ability to take on PM duties or grow further into project delivery ownership.
• Healthy understanding of middle and back office functions, ideally within banking, capital markets, derivatives, or financial services.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate in a hybrid, fast-paced, regulated financial services environment.
