Overview St. Mary's General Hospital, located in Passaic, NJ, is a community-based tertiary medical center focused on providing quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities Social Services III: Provide clinical oversight and supervision to ASWs and MFTIs. Assist the Director in quality assurance and program development tasks for social services. Offer emotional support, crisis intervention, counseling, information and referral services, and referrals for financial assistance to patients and families dealing with hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma across all clinical areas. Complete psychosocial assessments and collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Document all interactions and maintain clinical records for social service consults during each patient’s length of stay. Qualifications Education, experience, and training: Ph.D. or Psy.D. or Master’s Degree in Social Work related field or Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field. Current LCSW required upon hire and must be maintained. Completion of criteria to provide supervision to ASW or MFTI (LPCCI) according to State Regulatory Board. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained. Minimum of one year hospital or outpatient experience or emphasis in mental health care. Experience working with a diverse population having a wide range of problems (e.g., death and dying, maternal and child care, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.). The estimated pay range for this role is $26.95 to $40.43 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
