Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Some weekend coverage required

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings within an acute care environment
Evaluate and treat patients across a range of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Document patient care and progress using Meditech (Inpatient) and Redoc (Outpatient) charting systems
Participate in a structured facility, department, and floor orientation program including supervised buddy training prior to independent patient care
Adhere to facility dress code standards appropriate to the assigned care setting

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of California
Current BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Availability for some weekend coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an acute care or Level II Trauma hospital setting
Familiarity with Meditech and/or Redoc electronic health record systems
