Utility Worker

South Haven, MI

Compensation Includes

• Starting Pay Rate of $19.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Trash and trash removal from the building
• Maintaining general building housekeeping within two buildings (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, scrap removal, restrooms, lunchrooms, etc.)
• Basic building maintenance ranging from assisting with outdoor clean-up, changing basic fixtures, painting, hanging/mounting items, shoveling/salting (seasonal), organization of parts and other stored items
• Following all safety guidelines
• Assisting on production floor hanging the machine pads
• Other tasks as assigned by maintenance manager
• Use and maneuver of hand cart
• Operate lift truck as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Work overtime as required
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
• The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop
