“Mining for Meaning” may involve reflecting on emotionally-challenging experiences in your life. These classes are not therapeutic interventions and should not replace work with a mental-health professional.

Once you purchase a course, you will be enrolled within 48 hours and provided access to that course through your account dashboard. You will be provided a unique ID to log in to your dashboard and are encouraged to change your password immediately.

Once you log in, you will have access to all course materials until you complete the course.  Exercises should be submitted through the course; however, I encourage you to also email documents of your drafts to katy@mine4meaning.com to receive more detailed comments within the draft. Written feedback on drafts will be sent via the email address you provide at registration.

The courses are structured as modules, each of which are designed to take a week to complete. I recommend that you spent at least this amount of time reading the instructional materials and writing samples in support of a given exercise. Because writing is a process that takes time, you should plan to give yourself several days to engage with each exercise.

The courses are self-paced, so you can extend your time in each module beyond a week. If you are not able to submit an exercise by the deadline, simply send an email to katy@mine4meaning.com and provide an update on your progress.

Upon completion of the course, you will be unenrolled, so be sure to download relevant materials and drafts for your records.

Once you have enrolled in a class, course fees are non-refundable.
