What You'll Do

As a PRN Mental Health Technician, you'll work alongside nurses, therapists, psychiatrists, and other professionals to create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for our adolescent residents.

Your day may include:

✔ Building positive, therapeutic relationships with youth
✔ Supervising daily activities and ensuring resident safety
✔ Teaching healthy coping skills, communication, and life skills
✔ Encouraging positive behaviors while serving as a role model
✔ Assisting with meals, hygiene, recreation, and daily routines
✔ Documenting observations and resident progress
✔ Supporting therapeutic programming and group activities
✔ Using verbal de-escalation techniques (and physical intervention only when necessary—we provide all required training)
✔ Helping create an environment where healing can happen

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who genuinely care about helping others.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, education, social services, juvenile services, childcare, or direct support

• College coursework in psychology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, nursing, education, or related fields

You may be a great fit if you are:

⏰ Schedule

This is a PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling.

Available shifts include:

• ☀️ Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend availability is encouraged.
